These three cryptocurrencies could potentially change the rules of the game

The World Economic Forum has included two companies responsible for developing three cryptocurrencies in its new list of technology pioneers in 2020.

Chainlink and Maker DAO are listed among 100 companies whose cutting-edge technologies could have a major impact on global issues.

Chainlink, along with its own crypto asset LINK, is a decentralized network that allows traditional businesses to integrate real-world data into smart blockchain contracts.

MakerDao, an open platform for equal access to high-quality financial services such as loans, uses a binary token system with the stable coin DAI and MKR.

The head of the Global Economic Forum of the Global Innovation Community, Susan Nesbitt, says the list is aimed at companies that could help “restart society” and build a better future.

“This year, the technology pioneer class is improving society and advancing its industries around the world. These are companies that think differently and will eventually change the rules of the game. We look forward to playing the role they will play in shaping the future of their industries.”

LINK is one of the best-performing cryptocurrencies of the year, launching from $ 1.79 on January 1 to its current price of $ 4.02, according to CoinMarketCap.

Meanwhile, MKR lost its position, falling from $ 538.98 at the beginning of the year to $ 433.65 at the time of writing. DAI kept its fixation on the US dollar of 1: 1.
