The American crypto exchange Gemini has partnered with technology giant Samsung Electronics for portfolio integration.
The partnership means that American and Canadian customers can use the Walck Blockchain Wallet along with Gemini’s mobile app, the statement said.
The first crypto partnership of its kind
The partnership is reported to be the first of its kind. “Gemini is the first US cryptocurrency exchange and trustee to partner with Samsung, ” the statement said.
Specifications meet Samsung users
With the ability to download Samsung Galaxy phones, the tech giant’s wallet acts as a place to encrypt. As a result of the collaboration, the portfolio can now be linked to the Gemini exchange.
The detailed statement:
“By connecting their Samsung Blockchain Wallet to Gemini, users can buy and sell cryptocurrencies, view their Gemini account balances, and transfer their cryptocurrency to cold storage with Gemini Custody for the highest level of security.”
The collaboration gives digital asset users global opportunities and independence – functions inherent in their core cryptocurrencies, Gemini co-founder Tyler Winkelvos said in a statement.
Twin brothers Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss recently joined podcast Peter McCormack for an interview, explaining regulation as a necessary but delicate dance. Gemini aims to protect consumer privacy while still being sensitive to the roots of the cryptocurrency.
