CNBC’s Brian Kelly expects a serious upswing for Bitcoin after halving.
BTC’s CNBC expert said that the flagship cryptocurrency should become less expensive than gold after hawking, according to stock-to-flow.
In the video, Kelly explained in detail how halvings work, what effect it has on Bitcoin. He added that, based on the stock-to-flow model, BTC will become more scarce than gold. It also claims that it will push the price higher.
While there is quantitative easing in the world, Bitcoin will undergo ‘quantitative hardening’, according to Kelly.
The previous two halving events in 2012 and 2016 were followed by a serious upswing, he said.
