Binance suffered a DDoS attack on its Chinese domains.
The chief executive of the exchange, Changpen Zhao, confirmed the news on April 29 after rumors of the attack began to spread several hours earlier.
According to Zhao, this could be the work of competitors.
He publishes the following.
“Earlier today, our Chinese domains were targeted by DDoS attacks and some users noticed lag and network access interruptions.
Based on the attack model, competitors appear to be behind it.
No need to worry.
All systems are fine.
The funds are #SAFU [safe]. “
